La Doña

Legendary Mexican actress María Félix (commonly known as "La Doña") was a fashion icon. Her unique and extravagant style influenced designers and was often characterised by large hats, elegant gowns and bold jewerly. She was praised for her beauty, her talent but, above all, for being unapologetically herself. "Tizoc" (1957) stands out as one of her most celebrated films.
